Alternators, winches, 4x4, guns all have the same issue if you don't have any knowledge of them usually bad things will happen. Serehill

when all is done... time to improve the instruments "font"... for sure the instrument cluster is sometimes a bear to read!
Years ago I bought a mercedes cluster for the 450 series, it has odo, tach, clock, tripmeter, temp and fuel of course and the best is that the lenses are at 45degrees so no reflections, it is a mechanical speedo and a mechanical oil pressure gauge as well!

How does it fit in the dash? I always liked the MB interiors.

When I was in Utah I noticed a metropolitan on Toyota chassis. Salt lake city across the street from ice house pub
