Got in at 1:45am this morning.
Straight through with only 3 stops, 12.5 hours.
Lost all the wheel weights off the left front rim at the pothole at exit 330 in AZ.
Rain from Show Low to Catalina.
Passed 3 accidents on 77 between Globe and Oracle.
Glad I only have to do this one more time to get the jeep and trailer back home.

We hit some rain yesterday too on the 87. Some fools slowed down to 40mph.
I thought you were leaving Sunday?
Roy, I am glad you made it home! Try to bring TN next year and I will try to bring the Cherokee.

Of course it did! I am glad you made it home. It was good to see you and the better half again. Looking forward to hanging out in the Thanksgiving in the Desert!
We got home in good time around 1:30. Record unloading time and taking some chill time. We saw Casey and Betsy 3 times along the trip home. Someone lost an F350 off the road not far north of Dolores and delayed us about 20 minutes. I sure am glad it was cloudy for tearing down camp. Our friends were happy to be a part of the Invasion dealio. We enjoyed seeing friends and meeting new ones.
had a great time at the invasion, plans already made for next year..made it home yesterday around 4pm..only excitement was seeing an environmentally safe Prius burning to the ground along the side of hwy...had to laugh at the hypocrisy of the situation...large carbon foot print and scorched earth..but at the same time felt bad for the people standing on the side of the road staring in disbelief...must have freaked them out real bad they didn't even get the bikes off the back hanger...oh well the dinosaur burner performed flawlessly
Made a left turn in downtown Montrose Sunday, absolutely no regrets. Roads are a cross between AltaLakes and Last Dollar. The main roads are groomed gravel. Got lost in the forest up on Columbine pass and did FR603 which was outstanding views of Paradox Valley. I dropped into the backside of Nucla,CO. Then followed the Delores Canyon north and cut into Grand Junction, overnighted in Parachute,CO.
Todays route unknown,Rudy has had enough so I'll be heading East.
Looking to be home Wed and then take a side trip to Eastern, KY to deliver a tailgate on Thursday.
I had a blast this year.

ended up with some deathwobble that I partially fixed by resetting the toe end. my brand new GM 1ton TRE's are SHOT after just one trip. I think they are cheapies.

(who makes the BEST TRE?)
That is a tricky question. But to avoid derailing this thread, I suggest making a new one for it in one of the tech areas.
Cut through Breckinridge, CO. And Aspen down through Salida to Copaxi and southeast from there. Some incredible scenery. Rudy suggested we stop in Trinidad for the night. Cutting through the pan handle of OK tomorrow then across southern, MO.

Made it back Sunday by 330pm no troubles on the way. THEN opened the garage door to unpack and the troubles started. The hot water heater had blown flooding the shop and house .Finally got into the house about 8pm after returning the rental Jeep and replacing the hot water heater. Also in this time the computer to a dive and was without media, all is fixed, now to finish unpacking and getting on.

Wow, sorry to hear that. We turned our house water off and I flipped the water heater breakers. We had a flood a few years ago and it was a major pain. I hope you get it all cleaned up.
