Things are looking up for me!

New heim joint tie rod seemed to have cleared up some of my lack of power steering.

I think it may have enough power to barely go wheeling.....

Back safe. That is a long trail. 5 hours out and back just from Silverton.

For the early birds, here is what I am doing for the rest of the week.

Wednesday, Picayune and Placer gulches, then California and Corkscrew.
Thursday, Black Bear and Imogene. Pot luck at 6 that night.
Friday, Alpine loop. Stoping for lunch in Lake City.

Again, rolling out by 9am if anybody wants to tag along, or suggest changes.

Is anyone driving out from Denver tomorrow? I've got the serving dishes, napkins, plates, and utensils for the potluck.

Nice job Gabe.
Yours is the first carnage photo of the event!
That looks like it might have hurt and bled a bunch.
You gotta share how this happened.

It hurts now but the tool that did the cutting was very sharp, so it didn't hurt initially.

The Cherokee has also developed more tailgate alignment problems so I will be rolling the 91 on Friday if everything goes right tomorrow. Swapping to a Holley 2300 and stripping off the remaining emmisions controls. I got the vacuum system repaired and the charge circuit part way done today after I got home from the instacare.
