My actual panels did come with the rig, but still in the back waiting to be cleaned up and re-installed from PO taking them off.

Current door situation :)

Looks like mine. I havent decided what to replace mine with yet. Keeping the wood grain accents for sure.

Yep....and you can see how cooked the wood grain is on mine, so will be doing something to fix that, before the cards go back on!

Looks like my door too, minus the speaker. meninblack hooked me up with some ABS backers though... we will be getting them covered up nice one day.

It does look like a speaker, but more mute now, from baking in the desert heat for 18 years.

In this I do want a working radio of some kind (per my wife's direction), but unlike my CJ5 which I will NOT worry about sounds of civilization while enjoying the great outdoors, do not think I will put speakers back in the doors.

Going with a T&G wood headliner & cargo area, so thinking of a low profile speaker to mount in the headliner.

I want clarity for my old ears, and not the base boost all the younger generation worries about, and really does not bother me if there is no radio at all.

I can drive for days and days with nothing but the hum of the truck going down the road :)

I forgot about this thread. Here’s mine. Wanted a little more fancy but I could do this without a sewing machine or help from the upholstery shop. The arm rests are for a 68-72 Chevy truck, I did have to make brackets to attach to the door. The vinyl is ostrich texture that matches my seats.

Original door material reapplied to new hardboard. Closed cell foam on the back and additional foam in-between the board and door material so it is much more plush than the original. Boom-mat speaker insulation and 5.25 kicker speakers. Dorman universal door lock switch for the added door locks. Shameless plug for Johnson Production parts - remanufactured speaker grilles and door pull supports. Check them out at johnsonproductionjp.com Image
