To the best of my knowledge it still resides up in Casa Grande, AZ.
Been a few years since I heard anything about it.

My J4000 came home on the rollback after I rolled it on the switchback near home, but that was because the rad was punched. I drove it off the truck and up the driveway afterwards.

My '76 401 in 20 years of ownership never had been towed or trailered. It did get 4 or 5 little pushes down Poukeekies and into Ouray in 1987 when it caught fire at the playground but there wasn't much pushing needed down that mountain. The exciting part was no power brakes or steering and that was the fastest trip I ever had going down to Ouray...

My problem seems to be that all of my FSJ's except for my current J10 have been well worn by the time I get ahold of them.
Coming down Poughkeepsie with no brakes?! That musta been a hell of a ride! I hear ya on the power steering part. I went up Corkscrew then over to Poughkeepsie via Hurricane in a LWB IH pickup with a broken power steering pump then sheared a leaf spring pin and lost all steering on the way down. That was a fun ride!
