Got your pm & EMAIL We're talking!!mmmtang wrote:Alright, so I'm not sure if that PM actually got sent. Its still sitting in the outbox instead of the sent box. So... I need a harness! Please don't make me create one myself. I already did that for the headlights prior to seeing your stuff. I'd rather spend 1 day installing your harness than 4 days sourcing parts, creating, and installing my own.

Got the goods in the mail yesterday. They look to be of excellent craftsmanship. Thanks for the prompt handiwork and shipping serehill!serehill wrote:Cosmic rhino.
We used to get notices when we received PM's but that died when the site got upgraded. Ironic no doubt.
I responded to your PM call me.

I will look into this when I get my next Jeep.
I'm running a good old carburetor which remote starts don't work too well on. I went & checked it out pretty pricey. You would also have to buy a relay kit since our windows are not relay controlled & you can control it straight from the module. Well you could it wouldn't last long. The manufacturer doesn't recommend it. It has the issue we discussed why we don't use them. The system has no detection system in it if something get's in the way. Yeah I know hair splitting.Jeff from Iowa wrote:Google viper remote start. I would hate to post a price as it seems on this forum guys want to split hairs constantly.
I have remote start, door locks and rear window. Its just a remote start kit from viper and add on module.

I like Viper product & own 3.
Yeah I knew you did & that would be the way to do it since the remote would not work on the factory system. I was stating you would have to modify for a relay if you didn't have one. Then I didn't do my homework correctly on the controller I'll call tech support tomorrow. I looked at the 529t controller. that would make a ton of difference to me. Much safer. I don't get how the controller works but that certainly doesn't mean it doesn't. I understand the overload interface I just didn't realize it had one. the info I saw said nothing about that. I missed something. It would be easy to connect to the front switch with the 3 wire system.Jeff from Iowa wrote:It must have a way to sense if something is in the window, like I said it stops if I barely grab it..
I cant imagine a scenario where you would push the tiny button on the side of my remote 2 times, then the accessory button on the face and accidentally make your window go up.
For whatever reason it also goes up 5 inches or so then stops for a second then goes the rest of the way.
Mines programed for one side button push and acc. for down, two side and acc. for up.
I bought your kits also, maybe he used the relays in it?
Cost is one of those hairs I guess. I probably have new f150 money in my wagoner. Its rust free and in decent shape for original paint etc.
I sent you a PM.loche451 wrote:I tried your headlight light relay- works perfectly and has for over 2 years. I will order this too...pm sent
