So I have this set of nice looking rear side windows that have a little quarter window that pops open for ventilation. Right now they are laying in the garage waiting to be installed. I have a few questions about these windows. First of all what do they call them? Second, were they original on some of the Cherokees or are they an aftermarket window only. Thirdly I cant figure out why Im so darn gun shy kin trying to install them. Dont know if it is the fear of breaking one or its just that I have very little experience with window installs? Either way I need to do it so any advice on how to go about it? And finally is there a way to get the old windows out without destroying the window seals? I know Fiddo wants them changed. Any input would be appreciated.
Ok, I went ahead and gave it a shot. It worked out well without breaking a thing. I still would like to know if these were original OEM windows or an option? Were there specific years they were available or std. equipment?
Looks like 77,78,79's, had them maybe they came out with them after 1974. Think when I get some extra time I'm going to start looking at the old promotional advertisements to see if they show them as standard equipment.

They were available (Not standard) on all S model Cherokees, both NT and WT up through 83. Some other packages got them too, like golden eagle, golden hawk, pioneer, etc.
